Position: Chief Accountant
Job Description:
Prepare and oversee management reports and tax reports.
Implement budget plans and collaborate with departments to create annual spending budgets to meet the needs of various units.
Regularly review, develop, organize, and standardize the financial accounting system, including the establishment of procedures, regulations, and guidelines related to financial accounting to ensure efficient and compliant accounting operations.
Manage funds, coordinate cash flows, and develop cash flow plans in appropriate forms to meet short-term and long-term financial needs.
Manage cost, revenue, expenses, and salaries; establish criteria, plan, and allocate appropriately to departments, and review and approve prepared statements.
Handle reports from general accounting and accountants regarding operational and managerial issues related to revenue, expenses, inventory, fixed assets, etc.
Manage the provision of books and data for inspection and audit by relevant authorities.
Control and approve daily transactions, and train subordinates.
Participate in digital transformation projects and financial management software.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the department head.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, auditing, finance, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Chief Accountant position.
Candidates with experience in educational institutions or schools are preferred.
Certified Chief Accountant.
Proficiency in accounting procedures, tax laws, regulations, insurance, and current policies.
Skills:
Proficient in accounting software, MS Word, MS Excel.
Analytical, synthesizing, and information processing skills, good report and task management.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
High sense of responsibility, professional work style, honesty, and straightforwardness.
Good management and job operation skills.
